    "Vlookup" with "IF"

    Hi all,

Thanks in advance to everyone who gives this a go.

So basically I need a Vlookup with IF statement potentially.

I have a list of students with unique id codes. Each student is assigned to a class however I need this data transferred over to a table.

I've attached an excel document showing the list format and then the desired projected outcome.

Thank you again to the person that assists with this.

Here you go, If statement with a vlookup to give you the results you need.
Keep in mind that if your student list is going to be long, consider looking at replacing vlookup with index/match
