Hello,
I opened Excel and noticed that the ribbon/toolbar area is now gray. I checked my other Office apps and they look normal. How do I change the color back to green?
-Thank you

Mine has always been grey. Do you have an MS365 subscription? There have been changes to the UI recently,so if you have this version, earlier customisations of yours may have been reset. Google "Customise Excel ribbon/toolbar" - there will be plenty of tutorials online telling you how to customise it afresh.

I have noticed the same thing just now. After an update, suddenly the top part of the ribbon is a different colour. Word and other apps are unaffected - only Excel.
This is in Office 2019 Professional Plus (without O365 subscription).

I have gone into settings and fiddled with the choice of theme, but it makes no difference.
Why would they do this?! The updated version looks terrible compared to the previous one.
Anyone else got this?
