Print Area insists on being 2 pages even though I have Grouped rows away...

    Hi,

This is my first time posting here, although I have found useful help from other posts previously. Now I have a different type of problem I am unable to Google the solution to. :-(

I have a sheet in my workbook where I have grouped away (instead of hiding) a bunch of rows, because I do not want them to print. I have my data set such that there are only 32 rows (3 are double ((28.5 instead of 14.25)) in height due to needing extra room for text) and I have the columns' various widths set perfectly to fit on a single page, but when I set my print area, it insists on splitting my print area into two pages, 15 rows on the first page and the 2nd page holding the other 17 rows.

I have cleared the print area and reset it several times.

The only thing I can think of, is that Excel wants to keep my Grouped rows as part of the printable sheet, but I want the data I have visible to print all on one sheet. Is there a way, short of deleting those rows I don't want to show, to get Excel to print just that data I want to show on a single page? I've tried selecting my data and printing Selection, instead of the page, but it still splits it into two pages.

I've attached a screen shot to show my print area. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

Edit: I have tried to drag the blue line across the middle down to the bottom of my selected print area, but Excel will only let me shift those other blue lines, not the one I actually want to move. :-(

2nd Edit: I had two sheets selected. Problem solved. *ugh*

Hi - do you mind actually attaching your file rather than a screenshot?

It would be very difficult to remove the confidential portions of the workfile, otherwise, yes, I would have done that.

But thank you! I solved my problem. I can't move the blue line when I have two sheets selected.
