    Excel paste question

Hi, please help me with this issue.

When I copy an item from excel (example: copy character "A" from excel)
Then I copy another item from web (example: copy character "B" from web)
When I paste into excel, it only paste "A", not "B"
How do I prevent this? How can I paste the last item I copied?not the last item from excel

    Re: Excel paste question

I can't reproduce the issue you describe, at least with the page I copied data from.

I think you must be doing something wrong when you select and/or copy the data from the web page. Or, the specific page doesn't allow you to copy data.

Hi, i think it has something to do with the clipboard, in this image, "A" in the clipboard I copied from excel, "B" I copied from web. When I paste, it pastes "A", not "B", even "B" is the last item that I copied.

    Re: Excel paste question

Strange, after you selected a second item to copy, the marching ants in cell D3 should have been turned off.

Maybe you should just hit the ESC key before selecting a second item to copy.

    Re: Excel paste question

yes, if i hit ESC, i would be able to copy the second item. But that means i must hit ESC every time i want to copy, that's very annoying
