Sort command using a macro

using the sample chart provided, what I want to do is sort this list from largest to smallest keeping the name and value together when sorted. I know I can use the sort function to do this however is there a way to create a macro so that this procedure can be done with one click. thank in advance.

It's likely to work better if you didn't have merged cells and you DID HAVE headers. Then you can select all the columns and sort on the numeric column. If you want a macro, record one while you carry out the steps of the sort manually. You'll need to tweak and adjust the macro to make it generic.
