Question Increase reference by 3 columns

    Hey guys.

I have an issue that I tried to fix for a long time.

What I want is the reference to change every 3 columns when I autofill down the column of another table where every results shows in one page.
    =SUM(Salm_Khalaf!CA42,Haw_Lateef!CA46,Haw_A_Jabbar!CA42,Haw_Sharh!CA36,Salwa_Raju!CA18)
    =SUM(Salm_Khalaf!CD42,Haw_Lateef!CD46,Haw_A_Jabbar!CD42,Haw_Sharh!CD36,Salwa_Raju!CD18)
    =SUM(Salm_Khalaf!CG42,Haw_Lateef!CG46,Haw_A_Jabbar!CG42,Haw_Sharh!CG36,Salwa_Raju!CG18)

    What I get
    =SUM(Salm_Khalaf!CM42,Haw_Lateef!CM46,Haw_A_Jabbar!CM42,Haw_Sharh!CM36,Salwa_Raju!CM18)
    =SUM(Salm_Khalaf!CM43,Haw_Lateef!CM47,Haw_A_Jabbar!CM43,Haw_Sharh!CM37,Salwa_Raju!CM19)
    =SUM(Salm_Khalaf!CM44,Haw_Lateef!CM48,Haw_A_Jabbar!CM44,Haw_Sharh!CM38,Salwa_Raju!CM20)

This would change everything and makes my life a thousand times easier since almost every formula on this excel file relies on increments of 3 columns.

Thank you guys and all the best.

Re: Increase reference by 3 columns

=ROW() will give you the value of the current row, dividing by 3 will give you an increment every three rows. Use that to reference your cells using the OFFSET function.

Googling those functions should help, sorry I don't have time just now for a detailed explanation. Happy to help l;ater today if you're still stuck.
