I am plotting x,y coordinates. In my resulting graph I would like 1 inch along the X axis to be say 50 meters. Likewise I would like 1 inch along the y axis to also be 50 meters. Currently, when I do a regular scatter plot of random points, the values are not the same, and thus my symmetrical cloud of points is skewed. How do I fix this? Right now 50 m along the y axis is 1.75 cm on the actual graph, whereas 50 along the x axis is 2.7 cm on the actual graph. I am comparing 7 graphs and want the maximum and minimum x and y values on the axes to be the same across all graphs so readers can see how the spread of points changes across the 7 graphs.
