When I close the file or shutdown excel in addition to the "do you want to save" dialog there is a "you copied a lot of ... clipboard ... do you want it available" dialog. I want to turn that off or always answer NO. I can't find a menu for shutdown options though. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

You can't find it because there is no option to suppress this prompt. If you don't want to see it you can hit ESC before exiting, which clears the copy area.
