Conditional formatting on several cells based on 1 unique cell condition

    Hi, there.

I would like to highlight in yellow a line of 12 cells (let's says A1 to A12) based on the conditionnal formatting of only one cell (let's say A13).

Possibly it's simple, but I don't find the answer.

    Thanks for the kind help.

    Frederic

What is the conditional formatting applied to A13?

The generic solution to this is to use a custom formula with absolute addressing. Let's say that you want to format A1 to A12 if A13 is 99.

    Applies To range is $A$1:$A$12

    Formula:

    =$A$13=99
