Question Pivot table to total if another column has a value of more than 0

    Hi All,

I have a table of data with many prices and figures.
From this data I have a pivot table which is totalling columns for comparisons on changing data criteria.
But as not all columns have values, it is giving a false reading. So I only want to get a total of a column that has a value of > 0 in a corresponding column.

    Hope that makes sense.

Attached is a sample of the data and colour coded for the values I need to total and an explanation on the criteria.

    Column E = 'Y' & Colum C = STD & Column D >0 in yellow
    Column E = 'Y' & Colum C = NOT STD & Column D >0 in dirty yellow
    Column E = 'N' & Colum C = STD & Column D >0 in blue
    Column E = 'N' & Colum C = NOT STD & Column D >0 in light blue
    Column E = 'M' & Colum C = STD & Column D >0 in green
    Column E = 'M' & Colum C = NOT STD & Column D >0 in light green

Columns E, C and D will be changing, so I need the pivot to be able to keep the totals updated when these changes are applied.

I am guessing that you want a count based on the STD/Non STD column.
The pivot table would have the fields Y, N, M and STD/Non STD in the Rows area.
Again the Y, N, M field in the Values area.
The Price paid 1 field in the Filters area with 0.00 deselected.

    Hi JeteMc,

That's great, just adding a filter! Honestly didn't think of that, I was trying to work out a formula to take all into account.

Just for completeness, I was needing the sum of Price Paid, but how you have laid it out is perfect!

    Thank you.
