Locking Select Cells

I would like to lock specific cells, for instance column A, row 3, and cells C5 and C6.

I would then like to be able to easily lock and unlock all the other cells without ever unlocking the selected rows and cells listed above. Is it possible to do this?

It is only possible with VBA. There is no "hard lock" function that will allow you to say "Unlock all the cells except these ones that I want to stay locked."

If this code is put into a worksheet module it will operate on that worksheet.
If it is put into a standard module it will operate on whatever sheet is active.
