Pivot Table - Grouped by Month, Day and Hour

    Hi

I have data that I grouped by month, day and an hour within the pivot table. I would like to now instead of count to have average being each grouping.

As an example where you see

1 I would like instead of 774 which is the number of calls to see the average for that month
2 I would like instead of 44 which is the number of calls for that day to have that as average per hour.

    See attached pivot table results.

If you have suggestions on how to do this better please let me know.

Re: Pivot Table - Grouped by Month, Day and Hour

I feel that one of the easiest ways to get the average time would be to add to columns to the source data and then produce a calculated field in the pivot table based on the added columns.
The Duration column is populated using: =D2-C2
The Count column is populated with 1's
The calculated field formula is: =Duration /Count
Note that the result for 10 AM on Sept 1 matches the average of the filtered rows on the Data sheet.
