Text in cell won't change on selection of certain dropdowns

Hi Excel Form,

I have a weird thing happening when I select certain dropdowns in my spreadsheet, when I select a dropdown in a cell for which I have the following three selections, Select from Dropdown, YES, NO. When I click on the dropdown and make a change from Select from Dropdown to either YES or NO (These are not formula driven), it won't change in the cell but will change in the formula bar for it to change in the cell I have to go to another sheet an back. Have any of you got any suggestion on why this is happening.

TIA, I would have uploaded a sample sheet but everyone I create works as it should.

Make a COPY of the one that doesn't work and simply remove or tweak sensitive data.

I hope you have backups - this might be a precursor to workbook corruption.

Sounds like you might have Calculation set to Manual. Check it in Options.
