My colleague and I share a worksheet using Google drive which we both map locally using an "S" drive. The main worksheet links to individual cells in a large number of other worksheets with a hyperlink that looks something like this ='S:\1 ORDER MASTER FILES\1825 - 1849\1840 \[1840 - Master.xlsx]INVP'!$M$58.
My colleague recently had to replace his PC and reinstall excel. He mapped the Google drive to S: same as before but now when the file syncs to my G Drive the paths get changed to this ='C:\Users\lowea\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART\1 ORDER MASTER FILES\1825 - 1849\1840\[1840 - Master.xlsx]INVP'!$M$58.
I've gone to File - Info and changed the Hyperlink Base to S:\ to try and cement absolute paths but it hasn't helped. He has a laptop setup which hasn't changed and everything is fine if he works on the file on that.
Can anyone suggest what the problem is?
