    Discount Calculation

    Hey Guys,

    I am not sure why I have never asked this before.

    I have work for distribution companies for a long time as a buyer. Some companies work with List price minus "X" %. Straight forward. No issue there.

    Other companies are more complicated where they have discount like List price less 50/10/10/10/20/5 etc.

    I could do a Vlookup, but would prefer a formula that can recognize this method and do the auto calculations based on a field populated like this.

    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

    A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.
