the x axis all the days of the month are the same.
how do i get both axis (axes?) to show the actual values as in the data on the left?
can both graphs be on the same graph?
for the smaller may onwards like the right hand one?

If you want the dates from the data on the horizontal axis then it depends on how you want the horizontal spacing to be.
Setting the axis to Text will give all the dates BUT they will be equally spaced.
Setting the axis to Date, as it is currently, the dates on the axis will start with the Min value of the scale and repeat by size of Major axis value.
Therefore to get only the dates you want you will need to create the axis labelling using a dummy series.
