I have 2 values (A1 and A3) which are products of a match/index function that appear same but are actually 2 different values. I looked at this for several minutes but am failing this game miserably. Any ideas?

Yep I did do that and they are both same (30)
The different is Non‑breaking space Char(160) and normal space char(32)
Please try
=SUBSTITUTE(A1,CHAR(160)," ")=A3
