Power Query - No matches when mergin 2 querys

Having trouble mergin names with 2 querys, using 2 scripts in one of the queryes,

= List.Select(Text.Split([Comments and Work notes], "#(lf)"), each not Text.Contains(_, "System") and (Text.EndsWith(_, "(Work notes)") or Text.EndsWith(_, "(Additional comments)"))
= Table.Distinct(Table.FromList(List.Transform ( [Custom], each Text.Start(_, 19) & "," & Text.Range(_, 22, Text.PositionOf(_, "(")-22)), null, {"Date", "UserName"}))

The scripts are in Added column 1 + Added column 2 inside Table1.

So you don't have any matches, but why we cannot tell.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

I did a clean and then a trim on the names. There was apparently some non printing character
