    Auto Populate Calendar

I have a calendar (which I got the idea from the forum), that I want to enter the data in a list and have the calendar update based on a Lookup. The data is on the Data tab and on the Calendar tab, I want the calendar to populate for the employee in Cell B1. It works for the most part but once the list gets long, the data stops populating without sorting or re-arranging the data list.

Employee 9 should show 156 Hours on the calendar but it is only showing 132

    Re: Auto Populate Calendar

I think the issue was with multiple employees having vacation on the same day; some data was being "lost" in this case. I've adjusted the formula in, say, F7 to this:

That puts in two conditions for the matching. See attached - hopefully it's working for you now.

Thank you, when I change the Employee Name, the calendar doesn't repopulate. Do i need to do something to make it populate? I tried F9

    Hi DeanaG,

It looks to me like it is updating. I had to first click the allow Editing button at the top of the window, but then changing the employee name seems to automatically update the vacation days.
If you can't figure out how a formula works, try stepping through it using "Evaluate Formula" in the Formula Auditing menu item in the tools menu!

If you want to see where your code went wrong, try stepping through it by clicking in the code and pressing F8 and watch as the magic happens!

I guess I am just not very smart. I tried it again and the calendar goes blank when I change it to another employee...

The file you uploaded is working perfectly for me. Could be a problem with Excel versions I guess - I'm on O365. Sorry I don't know what to suggest.

Can you see 8 calendars when you change an employee? What does your view look like? Can you upload a screenshot from before and after changing the employee?
