Is it possible to have date calendar on Excel?

    Hello,

I have 22 000 rows of data in which one of columns is date. For example: from 01.01.2021 to 02.02.2022.

My question. How can I use excel if I want to extract data for desirable range: I want get data from 03.03.2021 - 06.05.2021, or just 05.05.2021 - 05.05.2021 (one day), and so on.

My idea is create VBA where user choose files, gather data and then he can generate reports by selecting different dates and compare others data.

I found some youtube tutorials, but they use dropdown list functionality what is not the option, because in this case I would get probably 365 item list.

I have loaded a picture how I imagine user should select dates for report data. So my goal is find put how can data be extracted by different date, not only 1 date, but range.

1 option I can think of, would be to have cells where you enter start/end dates, then use a helper column in your data table to ID those entries that meet those criteria. You could then use formulas to pull out the data you want.data

    1. Your profile indicates Windows 10. This is not an excel version. Please update your profile to reflect your Excel Version. This will determine how to provide a solution that will work with your version. Not all versions of excel accept the same solution. This is an important factor in determining how to give you the best and most effective solution.
    2. Read the yellow banner at the top of this page and follow the instructions for uploading a sample file of 8-15 records. We can then demo the appropriate solution for you.
