    Countif Formula?

I know how to use countif formulas but I can't get it to work when the columns I need to count are spread out.

I need to count how many times a cell has a value greater than 0. Problem is it's not in consecutive columns like Columns B through F.

    It's trying to count columns greater than 0 in Columns, B, D, E, G.

    Re: Countif Formula?

    a couple of ways
    =SUM(COUNTIF(INDIRECT({“B1:B100″,”D1:D100″,”E1:E100″,"G1:G100"}),”>80″))

    OR
    =COUNTIF(A1:B100, ">0") + COUNTIF(D1:D100,">0")+ COUNTIF(E1:E100,">0")+COUNTIF(G1:G100,">0")

Change the range to meet your actual need

Next time, please refresh your memory regarding the forum rule about thread titles - this one is generic and does not tell us what you are trying to do. More care in future, please.
