Numbers in cells overlapping to next cell

Hi all,

Something weird happening to a lot of my spreadsheets over the last few days. Please see attached picture. This is part of a pivot table, but same happening in just normal data.

The numbers in all the cells are overlapping to the next cell when they didn't use to. I have not changed any formats/fonts and as I mentioned, this is happening on a lot of different sheets.

I am at a loss, can anyone help please?

Pictures are rarely any use and I'm unable to understand what you mean by overlapping numbers.

Please upload the workbook or a representative cut down copy, anonymised if necessary. It is always easier to advise if we can see your request in its context.

Show a before and after situation with manually calculated results, explaining which information is data and which is results, and if it's not blindingly obvious some explanatory notes as well.

To upload a file click the Go Advanced button at the foot of your post, look underneath the post area for the Manage Attachments section and take it from there.

I have uploaded a file which doesn't have quite such pronounced overlaps, but if you scroll down to the Totals row (68), you can see the final digit crosses over into the next cell - (Numbers)

The 2nd file - example when I open up the spreadsheet, columns, G, H and I have digits overlapping into the next cell even though the cell width is plenty wide enough.

I downloaded the attached files from this post and they opened up correctly with no overlapping!
