Hi, absolute newbie here..

I've been given the task of capturing overtime for our team, the spreadsheet I've been given is really basic and I'm trying to update it a bit. We have approx 50 staff who overtime who are on varying bands so different rates of pay, currently I'm entering each one individually which seems crazy. How do I set up a drop down in a cell where I can select the correct member of staff which will then populate the band column with their correct hour of pay ? I have a formula in to calculate the total amount of pay for hours worked so from there I'm okay....
