    Question Sum column with a cap?

    I am working on expense reports and was curious if i could put a cap on a sum column? like if i were to add $300 and $300 totaling $600 but the sum never went higher than $500

    Sorry i need it specifically for column D, i should have specified that.

    =SUM(D3:D20) is what i have currently
