Dynamic file names

Hi all

Is there a way to create a file name and path dynamically e.g

common path c:\downloads\

the filename can be test1.xlsx or test2.xlsx or any other filename

I would like to concat a file name in a cell that I only have to reference that cell for the name

='path c:\downloads\[E3]&".xlsx"sheet'!B2

and in cell E3 will be test1 or test2

Yes but if the referenced file is not open the formula will return an error.
