    Tracing connections/links between workbooks

Back in 2018 I worked a lot with Excel and just as I was about to figure out how about 30 Excel workbooks where interconnected (they had links back and forth between them) I discovered a feature in Excel that did the analysis for me. You opened one of the workbooks, pressed a button and then took a coffee (or lunch break - it could take some time) and then Excel displayed a pop up showing all the workbooks and how they where connected to each other. You could drag the workbooks around to easier see the connections. It was fantastic!

I haven't been using Excel as much in the last couple of years and now I need that function again, but I can't find it! Does anyone here know what I'm talking about and where you can find it?

But Google: excel tool to display links between workbooks for more suggestions.

That wasn't how I did it, but your suggestion led me to it! Thanks!

You're welcome. Thanks for the rep.

I could not have suggested that as I've never used it and, if I understand correctly, it is not available to me.

Are you still using Excel 2003? If not, please update your profile. Thanks.
