How to create a single new column with numbers present in multiple columns in Excel ?

    Hello,

I have a file with several columns in which there are numbers. I would like these numbers to be in a single column. However, the title of the column and a line must also be present for each digit. In excel it would be better and otherwise with pandas in Python.

    Here is an example :

    original
    title_1 title_2 title_3 title_4 title_5 title_6 title_7 title_8
    word_1 word_2 word_3 word_4 1 3
    word_5 word_6 word_7 word_8 2 4

    what i would like
    title_1 title_2 title_3 title_4 new_column new_column
    word_1 word_2 word_3 word_4 title_5 1
    word_1 word_2 word_3 word_4 title_7 3
    word_5 word_6 word_7 word_8 title_6 2
    word_5 word_6 word_7 word_8 title_8 4

    Thank you in advance

If you go to the Data ribbon and click on Queries & Connections, a vertical panel will appear on the right - double-click the query there and it will launch the PowerQuery window. There are links in my signature line in my first post to this thread to stuff about PowerQuery in general.
