Same Date two different data bases ....actual date numbers different....why?
Enclosed is an excel file.
This file has two cols of data. ColA and ColB.
ColA has two dates in it...one in row1 and one in row4. If you check to see if the dates in A1 and A4 are equal (see cell A6) you will see that they are not. Its not until you format colA as a number that you see the "last" number is diff between A1 and A4. But if you format colA as a date with time ....they appear equal.........so why arent the numbers equal?

hi all,
when i format the cells per your suggestion i still see no difference. even the seconds in mine are exactly the same. so i must be doing something wrong.
