    Another Dependent Dropdown problem

When trying to name a range to be used in a dependent dropdown scenario, Excel tells me that the source evaluates to an error. I believe my named range should be correct. It doesn't begin with a number, a space, etc. In the attached sample, I am trying to solve the data validation dropdown in cell G18. Thanks in advance.

You cannot use OFFSET i.e Dynamic range, with INDIRECT in Data Validation.
If that takes care of your original question, please select Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED.

OK. I thought I was on the right track, but... Any thoughts on how it CAN be done?

I believe I will just add an additional standalone table for the acct names which will eliminate the need for the dynamic range. Thanks for identifying the problem.
