How to create THAT coordinate system - and more

    Hi together,

so I got this sheet from a company which is specialized in foot pressure insoles. They created a coordinate system where I would like to insert some more data (marked in red), but

first: the sheet is limited to the side so I can't insert more data sideways. (Usually there are 240 sensor numbers the excel sheet would have bee too big so I deleted some)

Second: when I insert them under I dont know how to get them in the same system PLUS when I copy them inside (red data) with the transposing function the data change because there is a automatically calculation made which change my data - I don't know how to shut that down...

Third: I would really like to know how they created that coordinate system on my own because then I could create one in a seperate sheet with some other data.

I hope you can help my comunity because I am lost..
    Thank you!

Re: How to create THAT coordinate system - and more

I am not able to understand what your questions are. What I see in your sample file is several rows of data. The first row is sensor number, the next two rows appear to be raw data. Rows 4 and 5 are calculated from the data above, then rows 6 and 7 perform a calculation on the data, and these values are plotted in a scatter chart using row 6 as the x values and row 7 as the y values. Row 8 is simply the opposite (-1*x) of row 6, and row 9 is a copy of row 7, and rows 8 and 9 are plotted in the second XY scatter chart using row 8 as the x values and row 9 as the y values.

Rows 11 and 12 appear to be relatively simple calculations based on rows 8 and 9, and, if I understand correctly, you either want to add these two rows to the charts or add a new scatter chart. I assume row 11 should be the x values in the scatter chart and row 12 should be the y values.

If your goal is to add rows 11 and 12 to one of the existing charts, I recommend bringing up the Select Data dialog, adding a new data series, then instructing Excel to use row 11 for the x values and row 12 for the y values.

If your goal is to add a new scatter chart, add the chart. If Excel guesses wrong (plots 11 and 12 as 2 data series against a generic count series), then bring up the Select Data dialog and fix Excel's mistakes.

Am I guessing what you want correctly?

Thanks for your help so far.

I figured it out my own way in the end. I was thinking too complicated about the hole thing.

Thanks a lot anyways for your time!!
