    COUNT BETWEEN 2 numbers

    Hi My Friends,

I'm sorry to bother you but I've tried all day to do something that i thought was easy.

I tried to do something easy, but i had an issue. I use the COUNTIF and the COUNTIFS formula (the way it should be, i guess)

From a List of Numbers (from 0 to 5 for now) I'm trying to count how many numbers i get from a Minimum/Maximum Cell reference (J4 and J5) <- Values on this Cells are going to be dynamic.

The List of Numbers is located on Column C5 to C40.

And the formulas that i use are located in F7 and F8

I mean, I'm not looking for the 2 formulas, i just need to get a Formula with the Right value.

    WHAT IM GETTING:

For example, I'm supposed to get 31 but i get 30, and most of the time it is 1 number less, but in some other columns (that are not on the sample sheet) I get the right Value
So, it gets me so nervous because in some columns it is good and other not?

Please Find the sample sheet attached

I really appreciate ladies and gentlemen...

    Thank you

    Re: COUNT BETWEEN 2 numbers

    Why 31 is expected?
    I count manually and get 30 (36 - 3 of "1" and 3 of "0")

    Re: COUNT BETWEEN 2 numbers

    Hi Mr Bebo021999

I see you're right, and the sample sheet as well, but unfortunately my worksheet has the problem...
i don't know if this tingui has to do with conditional formatting or because the set value I'm getting from formula (not a value)

    For example:

Using another column from original work, I've copied onto a sample sheet (the same sheet i posted here) it displays 28 (its correct.)
but on my original worksheet, wrongly displays 8 (using the same formula, same range, same everything)

I Appreciated what you have done for me..

Tomorrow I'll check my worksheet again (formatting, etc.) and i will copy more columns on the sample sheet, to see if the formula is correct

    Thank you, sir,

    Regards from Miami.

FWIW your formula in F8 excludes the value 5
    Formula: copy to clipboard

, but it is included in your formula in F7
