In the attached spreadsheet:
E2 =IF(G2=0,"",B2+G2)
F2 =IF(G2=0,"",C2+G2)
I want to replace the value in B2 with the value in E2,
and replace the value in C2 with the value in F2.
But when I do so the values do not get replaced.
Instead the formulae get replaced.
So what I do is use the Paste Special facility under the Edit menu and use Paste Values.
I need to do this many times each day, as things change.
So ihis ends up wasting a lot of time.
If there was a way to have formulae in E4 and F4 that show the actual values in E2 and F2,
then a simple Copy and Paste would only be required. And that would save time.
Anyone know how what formulae would do this?
BTW: The calculation is to obtain numbers that will then be used elsewhere.
And it has to be done many times throughout the day.
It is not a running total that I need.
