    vlookup getting #REF error

This must be one of the simplest problems posed, but I'm not getting it.

It's a simple look up by date but I get a REF error. I've made sure that the lookup value and lookup array are the same format. I don't know what else it could be.

For some reason this workbook has gotten really slow to move around (I've deleted a lot of irrelevant info) so I don't know if that's related.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

You did not set the lookup array correctly. In F7 copied across:

    =VLOOKUP($F$3,$C$11:$E$56,D9,FALSE)

Ugh! Thanks for the help. As I was cleaning the file to submit, I typed the wrong range.

Thanks too for the tip on adding to reputation. I'm still new to the Forum.

    Done.

This is a great resource, but I don't find the functionality very intuitive.

    Thanks for the help.
