Question How to select colors for different % values for Conditional Formatting?

I have a list of 26 different percentages that change daily.

I would like the values OVER 100% to be BLUE (bonus if font is white and bold too), values between 80-99.99% to be shades of green, 0-25% to be shades of red, and 26-79% to be different shades going from RED to GREEN.

Will excel let me pick custom colors like this when the values fall under certain criteria of my choosing?

CF allows you to pick a color, but it would be 1 rule for each color. If you want different shades of red, each shade would need it's own rule and it's own value (or range)

It sounds to me like you want a gradient for each interval. That is,
values between 80-99.99% to be shades of green
you want 80% to be dark green and 99% to be light green, something like that.

I thought this would be a piece of cake but when I applied a two-color gradient rule it applied the rule to all percentages, not just the interval I specified. So that isn't going to solve your problem.

Re: How to select colors for different % values for Conditional Formatting?

i had the same issue - and played with a few other options last couple of days - since question asked - and i could not find a solution - other than setting White as the lowest colour of 79% and then it dis show light green at 80%
BUT I was then unable to set another colour scale for the RED etc
But setting White as the lower colour - does seem to work ok
White at lower point 0.8 and white at midpoint 0.8 then 1 at max point
