Condotiona Formatting Based on Days of the week

Hi Everyone

So I am applying conditional formatting to the range E6 to H36 to make them all red when cell in column D are either "Sat" or "Sun" but it only applies in column E even if the condition is selected to apply in all the range.

Any help? what am I doing wrong?

Lock the D with a $.

i.e. =COUNTIF($D6,"Sat")
