Seat/Table Joins

Hello, we have the following seats available and we want to sell to the public whether it be for one seat or 60.

The idea is that should a person want to book say 16 seats as one reservation, the 'seat joins' must be able to work out which ones are left for capacity.

The seat number is irrelevant as we will put parties together as they booked, what we need to do though is tell the system which seats to join based on the group requirements, meaning all the seats are sold.

Seat numbers below numbered 910 - 969, 60 seats in total and example would be, if 910-917 had been sold to a group of eight, the system would need to know to book from there on.

What we don't know is how many will be in each group that books, so although we can say join 910, 911, 912, 913, 914, 915, 916 & 917 for a group of eight, we need to know every possible join for every possible group number, also considering what seats may have already been sold.

Is this possible.....?!? PLEASE! Thank you.

Hello John, thank you for your reply, apologies for the delayed response, I did not notice a notification on this one.

I don't think I was clear with my description, sorry about that, in the booking system that we have, I cannot import a spreadsheet unfortunately.

The formula I'm looking for is, every possible combination of joining the seats regardless of what numbers/seats are left.

i.e. a party of four book 910, 911, 912, 913 are joined, then a party of 3 book, 916, 917, 918, if a party of two look to book then the would join 914, 915.

The software needs to be told of every possible 'join' as each seat is individually sold and we don't want spare seats left.

I hope that makes more sense and you may still have a solution for us!?!
