    Protect Worksheet - Allow Sorting

I have a workbook (attached). I want users to be able to Sort the whole worksheet, BUT I do no want anyone to be able to alter any of the formulas/Conditional Formatting/Formatting/etc on Columns F through to Z

I have completed the "Allow users to Edit Ranges" and protected the worksheet. This allows them to sort A and B, but ONLY A and B, any column from D onwards seems to be static.

    Hi Glenn

No. When you A/Z Columns A or B none of the corresponding rows move, so wwww bbbb does Wrapping on 03 Jan, but after you A/Z Column A, ffff aaaa apparently did Wrapping on 3rd Jan and wwww bbbb did it on 16th Jan.

I need all the rows to move together whenever either A or B are sorted.

Apologies, having re-read my OP it does not quite explain it correctly. I want the whole worksheet to be able to be Sorted, BUT I do no want anyone to be able to alter any of the formulas/Conditional Formatting/Formatting/etc on Columns D through to Z

Yes, your original requirement was VERY strange!!

    You need a re-think. I think.

    1. What is the prupose of the hidden rows 3 &4. Can they be deleted, or moved elsewhere?

    2. What is the purpose of the hidden columns?

    2. Get RID of ALL the merged cells.

Delete EVERYTHING from, say, 10th January to end of year. Re-format WITHOUT ANY merged cells and repost the file. Then it should be do-able.
