Help with columns showing #####

Good morning everyone,

Looking for some advice. Whenever I open up an excel file and snap the columns so that all columns don't show as #### and then save it my managers still see ##### while I see the actual value. I have tried to check the resolution on my screen but that doesn't fix it. If it helps we both have 64 bit excel.

###### is Excel's way of saying, "There's a value in this cell, but I cannot display that number using the specified number format" for whatever reason. One common reason is because the column is too narrow for the specified number format and font size and so on. Another common reason is negative date/time values. You say that you can get the columns to display just fine on your computer, so I expect that the latter reason is not in play here, leaving the former reason (column too narrow for number format + font size) to be the main cause.

Solutions I see are to change the number format and/or font size to something that fits inside of the column, or to widen the column so it fits the number format + font size. Without specific examples, it is hard to provide specific recommendations, but the overall solution is in choosing a more appropriate combination of column width, number format, and font.
