    Re: microsoft excel 2021.

    Welcome to the forum.

Firstly, please update your forum profile - it says Office 16, but should say Excel 2021.

Secondly, why do you want to click the sum and what are you expecting will heppen when you do?

If you click it, it copies the VALUE to the clipboard (not the formula leading to the value)

this place is not clickable, it is what @Glenn said.
you can have the same result in any cell by typing the sum formula inside that mentioned cell.

Please update your profile, as I requested earlier.

You can use the SUM function within the worksheet: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...2-07b23e057f89

There is also the autosum feature: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...7-7d1bb85fe706

    You're welcome.

It would be very nice if you were to just click the Add Reputation button at the foot of any of the posts of members who helped you reach a solution.

Finally, if that takes care of your original question, please click on "Thread Tools" from the menu link (just above the first post in the thread) and mark this thread as SOLVED.
