    refreshing multiple cells using F2

is there a way for me to refresh multiple cells that has data in it? Right now, I am only able to go to each cell and press F2 and than enter.

The reason is because when I imported a file, the cells with the dates has the mm/dd/yy format and when i go into that cell and press F2 and enter, it changes to mm/dd/yyyy format.

I will need the mm/dd/yyyy format so in the next column i can put a custom format that will say "Monday".

    Please let me know,thank you.

    Try this...
First select all of the offending cells and make sure their format is the format you are wanting.
Second, with the cells still selected go Edit|Replace... to bring up the "Find and Replace" dialogue.
In both the "Find what" and "Replace with" combo boxes enter the / character then click the "Replace All" button.

    Another popular trick:

    1) Highlight the column of data
    2) Go to Data > Text To Columns > Delimited > (deselect everything) > Next
    3) On page 3 of the wizard, set the Column Data Format MDY
    4) OK
