    Looking up values

    Dear Experts,

Need to populate Summary sheet of the attached same sample workbook with their(for each team) corresponding score recorded against each date on Scoring sheet.

Was trying to achieve this with Hlookup and using locking cells but results are not properly captured.

Looking for help if their could be any better way of doing this please. thanks

    Re: Looking up values

How is this a summary? One sheet is an exact copy of the other. Or am I missing something?

    =IFERROR(1/(1/Scoring!B2),"")

    copied across and down.

If not, remove your formula and add expected answers...

    Re: Looking up values

Thanks Glen, can see its working!

My bad with data values for scoring sheet tagged against each date for each which could be alphanumeric as well like if we see in latest attached template.
Looks like with an alphanumeric values its not giving those values on summary sheet.

And yes you correctly mentioned both sheet are same but idea is the summary sheet would be built further by taking scores from scoring sheet.
    Hope able to explain..thanks

    Re: Looking up values

Post #4 will do that, but TBH, why?? Why make an exact copy of the original table???

If this still isn't what you want, you need to SHOW us what you are REALLY working with and REALLY trying to do.

Apologies Glen, working to build a team capacity planning on summary sheet where teams leave's having mixed on data on scoring sheet some one inserted 1 and other Full day as F and Half Day as H so alphanumeric.
