    Sumif giving wrong calculation

    Hi there,

    The sumif function i am using to add earnings if the years are same. However, for some reason I am getting the wrong summation.

    Any help would be highly appreciated

    The totals ARE correct. What makes you think that they are not?

    looks ok to me

    have you noticed the years are not in order
    2024 =
    row 5 to 9 AND also row 11

    as ROW 10 is 2023

    Unless the OP wants a value that crosses a year end to be split. But... that wasn't asked for and I don't play guessing games.

    just for clarity - i have highlighted the years so you can see where the year is out of the sequence, are you just assuming the year is sorted in order and hence why you think its miscalculating ?

    I realized yes the years are not correct/ in order. Apologize for not noticing.
