i am trying to adjust rebuys to calculate correct amount from cost player.

i would like the following that when changing the rebuy in Tounaments sheet. from 6 to 7 and 8 to 9 to calculate the same results of bankroll total of $30.29
cells to change rebuy count
1. v8 to (7) rebuys
and
V9 to (9) rebuys
total bankroll to be 30.29 using include adjustment

In order to change the bankroll while changing the number of rebuys the gross profit formula would need to be changed.
Currently the formula reads: =[@Cashes]*(1-[@[Sold % ]])-[@[cost player]]*(1+[@Rebuy])
Please explain how that formula should be changed such that changing the number of rebuys doesn't change the gross profit?

will explain my actual rebuys is 7 & 9 but inputing 7 and 9 changes my total of 30.29 to 29.08 i want it to remain 30.29 when having the rebuys of 7 & 9

You cannot change the bankroll without changing the gross profit as gross profit factors into bankroll.

Some time back you said that the calculation of gross profit should include cost player which should be subtracted from cashes multiplied by 1- the percent sold each time there was a rebuy.
Now it appears that there is a different rule that should be applied.
It is like trying to fix a leaky pipe when a new hole appears every time the old one is patched.

okay mate. no worries i was trying to simplify thing to be easier lets leave as is.
i do want to mention. that in order to enter games from other sites i think its going to revert back to this issue here. maybe not.

What I guess that you are saying is that you want the transactions highlighted green to be included and the ones highlighted yellow to be excluded.
In order to write a formula such that Excel would do that you will have to tell us what to look for in columns A:I that indicates which transactions to include and which to exclude.

let me explain more the yellow is all the percentage i bought at different instances a total of 3 times different times 4% 28% and 14% which = to the 46% total
on the picture show in this format.
Daily Hyper $10 46%($5.75)
and the green would have to be the cashes $17.51
can we instead input the results using the csv 1. to never have the issue with balance. also its great where i can filter which date to download as you can seee in this picture, and i won't confused re-entering same games too.

to include to have Haytch20 [ Sunday Hyper $10 $10 46%($5.75)
to exclude
[ Mini Saver $10 [Hyper] and all other games that are not Sunday Hyper $10
because a lots of games are with Haytach20

I still don't understand how a formulas could be written based on the values in columns A:I.
I have put a smaller sample of the data from '1' on Sheet1.
If you can manually show what output you want based on the 34 rows of data then I'll try to write some formulas to automate the process.

in pokerstake file that would translate tohay.png

I was thinking this was like the .csv files in the last thread and that you wanted formulas to grab rows from specific columns based on some criteria so that they could be copied to the pokerstake sheet.
I don't think from the data on the '1' sheet that formulas could fill the pokerstake sheet directly.
Perhaps someone else has an idea.

i was saying about splitting the file, but i don't think that would work.
having only tournaments and stake in each workbook.
it breaks my heart that after both working for so long and I can't keep track of any of the games. its unreal then on top i made a big mistake on staking wrong tournament late Saturday when i came buy i saw u log in for a few minutes. b bider.png
i stake a night before pretty sure he had the 25% Available which i would of bought all but instead i stake a tournament @ 5pm no bueno end of day when all players are tired and are gambleing and not playing at their peak bad stake have to learn from this.
its only few weeks since he beat 24k people in the 54 buying taking 69k now 171k wow massive. I am really thinking about leaving the states. i would really like a solution for the workbook. I only have one more thing in mind.
maybe today late or tomorrow will be done my finger hurts of clicking to input date mar 24 2024 almost 7000 rows.
