    Hi there,

    Cheap 'n' cheerful?

Hide Column G of your "Pulse" worksheet

Right-click on the "PM (4-7)" graph

    Click on "Select Data"

Click on "Hidden and Empty Cells" (bottom left-hand corner of dialogbox)

Tick the ""Show data in hidden rows and columns" checkbox

    Click on the "OK" button

    Click on the "OK" button

    Hope this helps.

Location = Oxford. Workbook refers to "Pulses". Any chance that you're working on a UKAEA site?

    Thank you for your response.

I believe there is a misunderstanding. I knew how to hide a column in excel.

I need the data in the DAY column to be shared between two tables to reduce the repetition. I think it is called relationship database if I am not mistaken.

    I appreciate your help.

I am not sure about the company that you ask me about but i am happy if you are enjoying your work there.

Re: Common Day column for both tables.

    Hi again,

As you can see from the attached workbook, sharing a single "Day" Column (i.e. Column B) between the two graphs is quite easy - the problem arises when you want to maintain "Pulse PM (4-7) Day" as the name of the series in Column G. These values are currently stored in the range $G$1:$G$3, and it doesn't seem to be possible to use the range $B$1,$G$2,$B$3 as the name of the series. I think you have two possibilites - either hide the entire Column G, or else move the range $G$1:$G$3 to another part of the worksheet.

    Hope this helps.

I asked about the UKAEA site (at Culham) because I spent 15 years working on the JET project there.

    Hi again,

    Many thanks for your feedback.

If you want to make the data sequence more consistent between the AM and PM graphs you can use the control shown in the attached image to move the Day series to the left-hand side in the AM graph.

    You might find this useful/interesting.
