This is driving me nuts!!! How to find a value given a specific date? Please check.

Hello there,

I have a problem..

Given:

A1: Month of January
A3: Date
A4: Yield
A9: Today's Date
A10: Yield

B1: 1
B9: 1

C3: 2
C4: 200

D3: 3
D4: 300

E3: 4
E4: 400


My Question is:
1.) What formula can I use (to cell B10) to find for the yield based in the value of cell B1?

Example: if the value of B1 is 1, then the value of B10 must be 100 and if changed, the value of B10 is also affected.

2.) What formula can I use to have only the number of day in a date? (example: I want to have 1 from the date January 1, 2005)

Please help me on this... I'm very much dying to know... thanks and more power

To answer your second question: use =DAY(A1) where A1 contains the date

And as for your first question, sorry but I don't understand what you want.
