    Question Macro warning w/out macros

Okay I am unsure as to why I am getting this message when I open a certain file.

"Macros in this workbook are disabled because the securtiy level is high, and the macros have not been digitally signed or verified as safe. To run the macros, you can either have them signed or change your security level."

I do not have ANY macros in this file, and I even double checked,
I went to Tools->Macro->Macros and there are no macros listed.

How do I get rid of this message?

    Thanks for your help!!!

Go to tools>macro>security and set security to low or medium

    Hi

At least one of your sheets probably contains an event macro.....right on your sheet tabs and select Vew Code to verify. These macros do not show in the Tool/Macro option.

I cannot lower the security, I am on a network at work. I cannot endanger our system.

    Hi
Nothing really. If you see anything in the View Code window then that is why you are getting the warning.

    Hi Kelly
Fixed it? Am I to understand that you deleted the macro? That was not my intention. Be careful as to what you delete, those codes are there for a reason and be necessary. If you delete it some functions in your sheets may stop working, so it would be best to just leave it alone.

Don't worry, I have about 5 workbooks that are setup exactly the same and only one of them was having problems. I view the codes on the other workbooks and saw that they were blank. So I fixed (yes fixed) the other workbook. I don't use macros so there are no major issues there.

Thanks again through for your concern!
