    Davus,

    Edit (or right-click) - Paste special - Values. A macro can speed thing up
    by allowing you to use a keystroke or button.

    Activate the cell with the text that you want to copy. Go to Edit -> Copy
    Edit -> Paste Special -> Values. This assumes that your text is not tied to
    formulas. If so, this method will overwrite the formula by copying the text
    returned by the formula as a value.
