Colouring fields by a word in the field?

CAn this be done what i want to do is

colour a field red when the name jon is in it, colour it blue when the name bob is in it and so on?

also i need to be able to colour a row dependant on the date that is in one of the fields red for 1 month ago and blue for 2 months old possible?
please help and i cant seem to get the conditional function to work on this as it only allows values which these arent!

how about deleting a field when a certain word is in it?
as in if i put the word completed in then it turns green and then gets deleted?
also can you delete rows as apposed to just single fields?
