Dragging cell data right, excel starts adding to value

Sorry for so many post today. This will be my last topic. When I drag my data right, excel automatically thinks I want to add 1 to the cell value. IE: if A1 = 1001.45 or 1001x45, if I click the bottom of the cell to drag right, B1 will be 1001.46 or 1001x46. I want to be able to drag the data right, but I want to make it stay the same. These cells has to be numbers.

Type (or copy/paste) the same number into the adjoining cell.
Highlight both cells and then drag.
