Merging 2 Sheet with Common Column Values

Is there an easy way to merge two spreadsheets, one sheet with several columns of which one column contains values that matches with one column in the other sheet? Some values may or may not exist in the other. For example:

Sheet 1:
A B C
1 ea bs xy
2 se de zz
3 tx mn yy

Sheet 2:
A B C
1 11 12 zz
2 54 23 xy

New Sheet:
A B C D E
1 ea bs xy 54 23
2 se de zz 11 12
3 tx mn yy
